Personality:
When you first meet Mikuni, you will see an eccentric man dressed up as a cowboy, playing with a doll. He’ll laugh and brush himself off as a traveling antique dealer and if you look just a little too long at his doll then he’ll claim you’re a pervert. It seems hard to take Mikuni seriously and that’s just how Mikuni prefers it. While he may come off as airheaded and like he just comes and goes at his own pace, behind that lazy smile is a ruthless villain that will do anything he can to achieve his end goal. Although any person who would go so far for an act can still be considered a bit weird.

Mikuni is mysterious and while it’s hinted he definitely has the role of a puppeteer all throughout the story, pulling the strings expertly without people realizing just how much he is doing so, nobody quite knows exactly where he is or what he’s up to. At a young age, he was an expert chess player even beating his own tutor and father at the game. Mikuni is intelligent, apparently good at every single subject in school, and with that comes how cunning he is. No matter what it takes, Mikuni will do it because in his mind, he has nothing to lose anymore. He already lost everything and so he is very extreme and always warns others that you should never do anything halfway. There are no shades of gray in Mikuni’s world.

It’s important to know that Mikuni came from a rich family with parents who loved him and vampire servants who waited on him and adored him. Mikuni had everything and yet, when his father cheated on his mother and had a child with that woman, it slowly started to slip away. When his mother killed the other woman in a jealous rage and then when she tried to kill that child years later, Mikuni was forced to kill his own mother to protect his little brother. For how cruel he may be, he loves his little brother more than anybody else, genuinely, and never once blamed him for anything that happened. No, that blame goes to his own father and for vampires because it was the Servamp of Envy that caused his mother to go insane. Once you do one thing wrong, Mikuni will turn his back on you and so he is very unforgiving. Don’t ever wrong Mikuni because there’s no coming back from that.

But it’s obvious that Mikuni is hurt inside from what has happened because in that instant that he killed his mother, everything that was his he had to leave behind. He was the heir, he was supposed to take over the Servamp of Lust, and instead had to take the Servamp of Envy that caused his mother to go insane. While he may not seem like it outwardly, Mikuni is bitter, and his old partner Tsurugi can see how Mikuni is pitiful because he once had everything and now, very obviously, has nothing.

Although it isn’t like anybody blames Mikuni for killing his mother. Everybody understood why he did it and everybody in the house misses him terribly. Mikuni knows this well but he has already burned that bridge. There is no looking back for him and this is a very self-imposed situation. When it comes to his past, Mikuni would rather not think about it and just stay focused on his goal because right now, that is the only thing that keeps him going.

Powers and Abilities:
Magic exists in the world of Servamp and although it’s implied that Mikuni’s family must know how to use spells, due to Mikuni going to Servamp’s version of Hogwarts, we do never know if Mikuni can use magic as he always uses his Servamp’s powers for his own. It’s possible that he can and he’s hiding that he can as a card up his sleeve but for the moment I’m going to say he doesn’t have any powers.
